Kidder County, North Dakota

Kidder County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,435.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/38/38043.html )〕 Its county seat is Steele.〔(【引用サイトリンク】accessdate=2011-06-07 )〕 The county was created on January 4, 1873 and was named for Jefferson Parrish Kidder, who served as a delegate to the United States Congress from Dakota Territory between 1875 to 1879 and as an associate justice of the territorial supreme court between 1865-1875 and 1879-1883.
